Who knew?

So I am supposed to be packing to go back to Philly, but I just wanted to share. I was watching TV earlier today and for some reason looked at my hand. I realized that my thumb is the only digit on my hand that doesn't bend at two places (don't count where it attaches to my hand). For some reason, that just struck me as odd. The rest of my fingers bend at two places. Why is this? It can't be because of the size of my thumb because my thumb is the same size as my pinkie which has two bends.

I really don't know why this has stood out to me, but it has.
